When I first discovered Foxwood Co. on Instagram, I fell in love with their gorgeous organic and modern geometric designs. Their FORMA Walnut Vessel succulent planter immediately caught my eye, so I'm very excited to be teaming up with Casey + Amy to give one of our followers a chance to win one of these beautiful handcrafted works of art.
Foxwood Co. is Casey + Amy, a husband and wife artistic team who have a passion for creating beautifully designed handmade items that will last for years to come. I asked them to share a little with you about how Foxwood Co. came about and their hopes for the future of their new company.
Foxwoods Co: Though we've been making all sorts of handmade things for many years, we didn't officially name and start our little business until April 2014. We both have Art backgrounds; Casey is a sculptor and Amy is an Art Teacher by training. After our son was born in early 2014, we were inspired to start a family business; something we could build and grow to pass on. We began designing and creating things that we could envision in our own home - objects that marry beauty and function in a fresh new way. Practicality is important, but creating a beautiful, well-made form drives our process and ideas. We've been so encouraged by the positivity from those who see our work. There is a growing movement of people who truly appreciate and value handmade, and we love meeting so many of them! It's probably the best part of it all - making lifelong friends along the journey. We continue to feel honored that our pieces, made completely by our hands, are being brought into homes and kitchens... given as gifts... turned into heirlooms... we're extremely grateful and thankful.
